Can every Tuesday be tuna tartare day please???
There’s something about the crunch of these wonton chips with fresh tuna in that creamy, spicy, sesame sauce that is just soooo addictive!!!
I’ve made this tuna tartare countless times and served it so many different ways; in a sushi cake, on homemade rice crackers, in spoons as canapés with a little sushi rice, on cucumber slices… and I’m still trying different combos.
The best bit is the tartare takes only 10 mins to prepare!!
1. Cut the wonton wrappers into half diagonally and fry in hot oil until crisp, drain and set aside to coolIngredients

2. Place the cubed tuna in a glass bowl with the mayonnaise, Sriracha, soya sauce, sesame oil, chives or spring onions and the furikake, mix well and set aside
3. Take another glass bowl and line with cling film, tip the tuna into the lined bowl and press down, place the serving plate centred above the bowl and turn upside down releasing the tuna into the plate
4. Arrange the sliced avocado, radishes and edamame beans around the tuna, sprinkle with more furikake or toasted sesame seeds
5. Serve with the crispy wonton chips and enjoy!
