MY MAMA’S CHEESY GARLIC BREAD

The ULTIMATE garlic bread!!!… fresh coriander and spring onions give it a freshness… just ooozing with cheese and soooo moreish… we always make more than we need so there’s plenty for turkey and ham leftovers… it;s too good!

Try this one guys!!!… It’s addictive!! 

MY MAMAS CHEESY GARLIC BREAD

Ingredients

  • 4 Half Baguettes (I used half baked ones)
  • 250g Butter, unsalted and softened
  • 1 large handful Coriander, finely chopped
  • 4 Spring onions, finely chopped
  • 200g Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 tsp Sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C
  2. Add the softened butter, garlic, coriander, spring onions, cheese and salt into a bowl and mix well
  3. Slice the baguettes on a diagonal then fill each cut with 1 tsp of butter so both sides are well buttered
  4. Cover completely with foil and refrigerate until ready to cook (this can be made done a day in advance)
  5. Remove the foil and bake in the oven until the butter is melty, the cheese is oozing and the bread is cooked through and golden coloured
  6. Keep each baguette wrapped in foil to stay hot
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
