MASALA STUFFING BALLS – Up your stuffing game by adding some FLAVVVVA AND SPICE to that sausage meat! 

These stuffing balls pair gorgeously with my Curry Leaf Butter Turkey but would also work wonderfully with any roast to give you some extra oomph, especially if you are cooking a relatively bland roast for the kiddos!

Loaded with juicy sausage and fusion flavours which give you the BEST Sausage Stuffing EVER!  Pile them high and hope you are the first one back in line for seconds before they all disappear!

Prepped in just 20 minutes, whack in the oven and let the oven do all the work so that sausage meat is cooked to succulent perfection!

Ingredients

  • 2 Onions, chopped small
  • Cooking oil
  • 800g Pork mince
  • 0.5 tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 0.5 tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Maggie liquid seasoning
  • 0.5 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 0.5 tsp Chilli powder
  • 0.5 tsp Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Cumin powder
  • 3/4 tsp Coriander powder
  • 50g Panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/360F (if making immediately)
  2. Add a generous glug of oil to a pan and fry the onions on med-high heat until they are golden and caramelised, drain on kitchen paper until cool
  3. Place the sausage meat into a large bowl along with the cooled onions
  4. Add all the remaining ingredients to the bowl and using your hands give it all a really good mix until you have a smooth mixture that holds together well
  5. Mould the sausage meat into balls or into your desired shape (you can do a loaf shape to save time!)
  6. Cook in the oven about 20 mins or until done and starting to colour slightly
  7. Serve with your curry leaf butter turkey and gravy
  8. Enjoy!
