OMG!!! Believe me… move over (just for a minute) churros because these are the bomb!!!
Ever since eating those hot fresh cinnamon sugar doughnuts on Brighton pier last weekend, I’ve been craving that cinnamon sugar combo… so I experimented making baskets… not using spring roll wrappers this time but with flour tortillas which I shaped and fried till crispy then bathed in cinnamon sugar.
Fill them with whatever you fancy from ice cream, fruit, custard or whipped cream… I made a quick chocolate mousse with a drizzle of the most luxurious maraschino cherries in syrup.
