Puff Pastry Bundles With #MailleHollandaiseSauce, Parma Ham & Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 80g @Maille Hollandaise Sauce
  • 2 x 320g Puff pastry pre-rolled sheets, thawed
  • 2 bunches of British-grown asparagus, woody ends removed (36 spears)
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt flakes and black pepper
  • 12 Slices Parma ham
  • 120g Sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp Poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 C and line an oven tray with parchment paper
  2. Lightly flour a flat work surface and roll the puff pastry out to a large rectangle about double the original size; cut into six even squares
  3. Add the asparagus to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper
  4. Add about 1.5 tsp Maille Hollandaise sauce to the middle of each square
  5. Fold one slice of the Parma ham in half and arrange it so it lays on top of the Hollandaise sauce
  6. Place three asparagus spears on top and 1 tbsp grated cheddar
  7. Then join opposite corners of the pastry squares to make a little parcel and press together to seal
  8. Brush with the beaten egg
  9. Season with sea salt, and black pepper and sprinkle with poppy seeds  
  10. Place in the preheated oven and bake until golden, about 15-20 minutes
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!
