Valentines Choco Cookie Cups

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! ❤️❤️❤️ These decadent chocolate cups are all the sweetness you need this Valentine’s Day… 6 simple ingredients… I made the cups using Northern Dough Co Frozen Chocolate Chunk Brownie Cookie Dough… insanely easy!

The filling is made from only 5 ingredients… melted chocolate, cream, cornflour, vanilla, and a pinch of salt… it wasn’t heavy at all and had the perfect balance of sweetness

They are decorated with edible dried flowers, edible glitter, and a sprinkling of icing sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 Packet 360g Ready-made cookie dough, defrosted
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 240ml Double cream
  • 240ml Melted chocolate
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • OPTIONAL GARNISH: Edible dried flowers, edible glitter, icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180℃
  2. Shape the cookie dough into circles with the diameter to fit your muffin or tart tin. I got 12 chocolate cups in total.
  3. Grease the tin well, then press each circle of dough down in the tin and cook for a total of 12 minutes. Halfway through cooking, remove the tin and press the dough down again so it does not expand too much and you have room for the filling.
  4. Mix the cornflour and the cream, then in a saucepan on low heat, add the melted chocolate, salt, vanilla, and cream mixture, keep cooking on low until you get a thick paste, remove and set aside to cool.
  5. Once the cookie dough cups are done, remove them from the oven and cool completely. Remove the cups from the tin and place them onto a plate.
  6. Pour the filling into the cookie cups and refrigerate for 2 hours until set
  7. Remove the cups from the fridge 20 minutes before serving
  8. Dust with icing sugar or garnish with dried edible flowers and edible glitter
